MISSION STATEMENT

The California State University, Northridge’s Accounting Association is a student-driven organization. Its mission is to help students develop professional skills and build relationships essential to launching a successful accounting career. In order to fulfill this mission, the Accounting Association:

1. Promotes the benefits of joining the association to current and potential accounting students,
2. Encourages accounting students to be involved in the association,
3. Presents students with more information about the accounting profession and the skills needed to become successful,
4. Provides students the opportunities to become acquainted with potential employers,
5. Fosters collaboration and camaraderie between members, and
6. Prepares students in making the transition from academia to industry.

CONTINUOUS SEMESTER GOALS

• Fulfill the purpose of the Accounting Association.
• Broaden awareness of the Accounting Association and increase membership.
• Increase participation at all Accounting Association events.
